Kylvyssä - Bath

Tämä nukke halusi heti päästä kokeilemaan kylpemistä vaahtokylvyssä. Kuplina kuplamuovia.

Nearly Done - Melkein valmista

 Only few small things are still missing. Like toothbrushes and paste. I added the radiator because I had a spare one. The radiator is so tall that I could not fit it to the Pigletton's bathroom.

 Melkein valmista! Vain muutama pikkujuttu puuttuu vielä, kuten hammasharjat ja -tahna. Lisäsin vielä patterin, koska minulla oli yksi ylimääräinen, joka ei korkeutensa takia sopinutkaan Piglettonin kylpyhuoneeseen.

 Shower and the fauchette. They are both made from odd bits and pieces and a dry-cleaner's hanger.

Suihku hanoineen on tehty erilaisista metalli-ja koruosista sekä pesulan henkarista. Kylpyvaahtokuuliksi laitoin 15/0 valkoisia siemenhelmiä.

Materiaalit - Materials

 Tässä kuvassa on käyttämiäni tarvikkeita. Näiden lisäksi käytin kahta valmista hanaa ja yhden viemäriputken. Nekin olisi voinut tehdä tuosta henkarin metallista. Erilaisia metalliosia kannattaa olla paljon erilaisia, koska niistä yhdistelemällä saa tehtyä monenlaista.

• jämäpaloja laattapaperia
• jämäpala koristeaidasta
• yksittäispakattu voirasia

• metallinen henkari esim. pesulasta
• akryylimaaleja (mattavalkoinen seiniin, kattoon ja listoihin; kiiltävä valkoinen kalusteisiin ja hopeinen metalliosiin)

Here I have materials I used in my Victorian bathroom. I also used spare doll house pipe and fauchets, but I could have made them of the metal wire and odd metal parts. It is useful to have plenty of different metal parts, because you can make almost anything just combining them differently. 

Materials:

• wooden mouldings
• coffee stirrers/sticks
• cardboard from packaging
• pearls
• metal parts e.g. from pen
• left over tile paper
• left over fence material
• single packed margarine container
• pieces of wood e.g. from fruit box
• metal hanger from dry-cleaners
• acrylic paints (matt white for walls, ceiling and mouldings; glossy for sink and watercloset; silver for metal parts)

Työkaluja, joita käytin. Näiden lisäksi käytin tietysti tavallisia saksia ja poraamisen Dremeliä. Käsiporakin käy. 

Tools which I used. In addition I used scissors of course and Dremel for drilling the holes. But you can manage without a power drill, too.

Monenlaista - Various things

Tässä kuva uudesta ammeesta. Amme on oikeasti kylpyvaahto yms. setin alusta, jonka sain Britalta.

This is a new bath tub to the bathroom. It is from a life-size bubblebath set. I just took the bottles out and I had a doll house bath tub in my hand. I owe thanks to Brita from this marvellous idea.

I have made these things a while ago but I haven't had time to take pictures of them. I have made the books from real leather and some scraps of thick cardboard.

The chess table is made from doll house mouldings and spindles. The top is made from 5mm x 5mm little mosaic ceramic tiles.

I got this beautiful picture frame and picture from Brita.
I finally had time to iron all these crocheted table mats. I am not sure if I should sell them in Etsy or should I wait till the Dollhouse and Teddy Bear Fair in Helsinki at the end of this year.
